I have seen so much condemnation this year from Christians. I have seen an assault on the name of God by Christians proclaiming to stand for Him while forgetting His two greatest commands- Love God and love others. I am so sorry if you have been wounded by a “Christian” who has made you feel condemnation or shame. That is not of God and I break that off of you in Jesus name.
“Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud or rude. It does not demand its own way. It is not irritable, and it keeps no record of being wronged. It does not rejoice about injustice but rejoices whenever the truth wins out. Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance. Love never fails.”
-1 Corinthians 13:4-8
If you have seen a “Christian” operating in any other way than listed above, pray for them. They have yet to be perfected in love.
We all need to be perfected in love. I pray we all are because love never fails and covers a multitude of sins. I pray we rise up in love and it be our first choice. To choose love in all circumstances. To not allow the enemy to use our “Christian” stance to rob the world of love. The enemy has been defeated but we give him power when operate in any other spirit than the spirit of truth. Jesus modeled this perfectly when He met people where they were at and lovingly revealed truth. And in the Bible, it was the religious sector that was the most hard-hearted towards the message of love.
So if you have been wounded by a message not rooted in love, again I’m sorry. If you have turned away from Jesus because His followers are blinded by the enemy, I’m sorry. You are loved. Your voice matters. Your cares matter. You are seen. You are so loved.
