Casting out Fear

“There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love. We love Him because He first loved us.” 1 John 4:18

I have been meditating on this verse for the past few days as I realize I have some deeply rooted fears. Fear of failure, fear of disappointment, fear of things not working out and you know what I realized? All those are lies from the enemy. That’s not my voice worrying about those things, it’s the enemy’s voice in my mind that I have been listening to for far too long. The devil comes to steal, kill, and destroy and he wants to take our focus off of God so we do not experience His perfect love. BUT GOT in His kindness draws those fears out of us and wants to replace it with His voice, His words, His oh so perfect love. He is so kind to us, but if we keep holding onto the fears within us, we will not be able to receive the love He wants to lavish upon us. We must release fear to receive love. We must release control to receive guidance. We must release our heart to Him to receive an immovable heart. He is so good and loves us so much. Deep, deep love greater than anything you could ever experience. Being loved by Him is the greatest treasure on this earth. Do you know how deeply, perfectly, and truly loved by Him you are? Because you are. More than you will ever know. If there is any fear, or situation you need prayer for, let us know and we will contend on your behalf for breakthrough. God can and WILL deliver you from evil. Allow Him into your situation and be in awe of His goodness and faithfulness in ALL THINGS.
